Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026.

This privacy policy explains how Tickr ("Tickr", "we","us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the website tickr.gg, the dashboard at app.tickr.gg and the ingestion API at api.tickr.gg (together, the "Service"). It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.

Who is responsible for your data

For your account data, the data controller isAxentSoftware (SAS, RCS Paris 940 581 234), CS 48756, 58 rue de Monceau, 75380 Paris 8e CEDEX, France.

For the player analytics a server sends us, the server owner who connected that server is the controller and decides why the data is processed. Tickr acts as a processor on their behalf, under our data processing terms, and only processes that data to provide the Service.

Privacy contact:privacy@tickr.gg.

What we collect

  • Account data: email address and display name, sign-in method (email or OAuth provider), and your plan.
  • Server analytics: in-game pseudonymous identifiers (e.g. Minecraft UUIDs, SteamIDs), in-game usernames, session start/stop timestamps and the gameplay events your server chooses to send.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we store only the customer and subscription references needed to manage your plan, never full card numbers.
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps and request metadata, generated automatically when you use the Service (see "Log files" below).

We deliberately collect no further personal information about players beyond the pseudonymous data your server sends.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Depending on the data, we rely on one of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to create your account and deliver the Service you subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure the Service, prevent abuse and improve our product, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to keep accounting and billing records and to respond to lawful requests.
  • Consent: where required, for example before loading any future non-essential cookies.

How we use your data

  • Provide, operate and secure the dashboard, API and widgets.
  • Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
  • Compute and display analytics for the servers you own.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Respond to support requests and important service notices.
  • Detect, prevent and investigate abuse, fraud and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists and is deleted (or anonymised) after closure, subject to legal retention periods for billing records. Raw time-series analytics are physically retained for at least 90 days and at most 13 months; aggregated statistics are kept up to 25 months. Plan tiers change what is visible, not what is stored.

Subprocessors and transfers

We rely on a small number of subprocessors to run the Service: our hosting provider (Hetzner, EU), Cloudflare for web and edge delivery, and Stripe for payments. Where a subprocessor processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

If your personal data is processed by Tickr as controller (account data), you may exercise the following rights under the GDPR:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • request rectification of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise these rights, emailprivacy@tickr.gg. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

For tracked players: because Tickr is a processor for player analytics, the server owner who tracked you is your point of contact. Server owners can anonymise or fully erase any tracked player from their dashboard or via the API, which removes or unlinks all associated time-series rows.

Log files

Like most online services, our infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps, referring and exit requests) to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service and to detect abuse. These logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised.

Cookies

Tickr uses only strictly-necessary storage today. See thecookie policyfor details and thecookie settingspage to manage any future preferences.

Children

The Service is not directed at children. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect personal data from, children under the age of 15 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, request its deletion, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. Submit requests toprivacy@tickr.gg.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by a reasonable means.
